Affle has agreed to acquire Perion for about $420 million, bringing AI-powered mobile advertising together with campaigns running across connected TVs, retail platforms and digital screens.
Affle focuses on mobile performance marketing: helping brands turn ad engagement into measurable customer actions. Perion brings Perion One, its cross-channel advertising platform, and Outmax, an AI agent designed to optimize campaign performance.
Perion also brings established capabilities in connected TV, retail media and digital out-of-home advertising. Affle wants to combine those channels with its mobile conversion technology, giving advertisers a clearer view of how campaigns perform across different screens.
The companies see opportunities in e-commerce, retail and healthcare. Perion will continue operating under its own brand if the acquisition closes, which is expected in early 2027, subject to approvals.
The bigger test is whether their AI systems can make cross-screen advertising work as one connected experience rather than a collection of separate campaigns.
